Now more than ever, students in inner-cities across America are in critical need of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. Urban Tech’s outstanding SEL programs are designed to empower students with the critical skills they need to excel in today’s academic environment.

Our flagship program, widely known as the Youth Leadership Academy, (YLA) offers evidenced-based digital modules that are designed to help students develop fundamental life skills including: recognizing and managing emotions; developing empathy and concern for others; establishing positive relationships; making responsible choices and handling stress and challenging situations constructively and ethically.

At Urban Tech, we offer accompanying Professional Development webinar programs for teachers, faculty and staff as well as affordable individual modules for students. Our wide range of videos and games for students are not only fun and engaging, but they effectively promote character building in the classroom.
