Contribute to Our Mission

Urban Tech, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit with over 25 years of addressing inequities in access to technology in low-income and marginalized communities. Urban Tech has established computer centers for underserved residents in 500 locations across the country and has trained nearly 2 million youth and adults in computer literacy and workforce development. Today, we continue to pave the way and are seeking donations to give students an unforgettable experience of building their own laptops which they will own and maintain. These laptops will be used to connect to Urban Tech’s, Dignity for All for social and emotional learning, tutoring, and access to their classrooms for academic growth and sustainability.

A donation of $250 will provide one student with the computer parts, Wi-Fi and necessary training to build a personal laptop for school and home and maintain technical support for day-to-day operations of the equipment for academic remediation and growth.

A donation of $2500 will provide a classroom of twenty students with  tutoring and mentoring to reverse learning loss and build confidence and resilience as students return to their classrooms.  Teachers receive Urban Tech’s training in Dignity for All to build social and emotional skills and reduce bullying and cyberbullying behaviors for safer and more supportive environments both in school and at home.

Urban Tech is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN #13-3826279).

Help Urban Tech continue to engage students to succeed in life.

For more than two decades, Urban Tech has developed intensive education curriculums that empower young people in urban communities with self-awareness and social and emotional learning on core life skills. Urban Tech has served over a million children across 50 states. Our programs have been in more than 750 schools and community based organizations.

Dignity for All is a bullying prevention and safe and supportive schools program — both interactive digital and off-line with workbooks — that uses storytelling, role-playing, and popular culture to inspire collaborative discussions, critical reflection, and goal-setting. The course provides the skills students need to create communities where they feel safe and empowered.
