There are many Web based e-mail services. For this class, we will use Hotmail to set up a free e-mail account.

Your Hotmail account is a permanent e-mail address. It is free. It is sponsored by Microsoft.

However, you need to keep using it. Accounts that are inactive for a period of time are removed from the Hotmail system.

To set up your Hotmail e-mail account, you need to go to the Hotmail Web site. From here you click on the sign up button.

CLICK You then see the terms of service. You need to accept these terms before you can complete the registration form.
